5 Months

David is now 5 months old! I can't believe how big he is and how much he is growing each and every day. Check out the pictures below and info on what David is up to now.

His hands are ALWAYS in his mouth!

Check out his cowboy boots and his "First Levi's"

Cheering on the Rebs during the Cotton Bowl!

David is growing more and more each day. He is now sleeping through the night in his crib in a "napnanny" (a great invention that works!) He is completely formula fed. (4-5 6oz. bottles a day) I made it to a week before Christmas with breastfeeding then dried up. David also eats at least 2 meals a day of veggies and fruits. He loves peas, green beans, squash, carrots, pears, apples and bananas. He won't eat rice cereal though. Not sure what it is about the rice cereal that he doesn't like, but he refuses to eat it. He loves everything else. We have no sign of teeth. David drools some, but doesn't show any sign of teeth coming anytime soon. He smiles all the time, laughs at us and Dixie. He will follow her all around the room and Dixie will even bring David a ball to throw for her. It is so cute. We have discovered that David is extremely ticklish. I would love to get it on video, so hopefully I can get that done soon.

David is outgrowing size 6 month clothes quickly. We are already wearing some 9 month clothes, and it seems like we will go through that faze quickly.

JD and I are also going to leave David for the first time together tomorrow. We are taking a fun vacation to LA for the National Championship game. I am taking David to Birmingham to meet my mom and hand him over for the rest of the week. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with being away from him for so long. Mom will have to take lots of pictures and send them to me!

Olivia,

David is such a precious baby!! Oh, I just can't get over his beautiful smile. He seems to be belly-laughing in many of his photos, just bringing a big smile to MY face! I hope y'all are having a ball with him-looks like you are.

Be blessed, Carole
